EBL – the Halton-based group of construction, maintenance and development companies – jumped to the rescue recently when they were asked by registered charity, Local Solutions, to help prepare a building for occupation by a division of the organisation, Sefton Homecare.

At the request of the charity, EBL first provided a team of plasterers for the project, followed by a team of decorators.

Local Solutions is a leading social enterprise in the North West of England and was established in 1974. The organisation specialises in improving the quality of life for vulnerable and excluded people through a wide range of programmes – including an anti-bullying helpline, domestic violence support, mental health support, employment preparation for disabled people, and welfare rights services.

A spokesperson for Local Solutions said: “Staff at Local Solutions would like to convey their sincere thanks to the team of tradesmen from EBL who provided their services totally free of charge. Thanks to their hard efforts, the building is now ready for occupation by Sefton Homecare.”
