This is a private development of three 3 story houses – each one with 3 bedrooms. Each house comes with a Garage and the ground floor area is open plan.
The development is a commission from a private client, and before EBL started work on the project, the land that the houses have been built on was barren land.
EBL took on the development of the project from the very inception, starting work on the site when it was wasteland.
A number of builders and developers had “walked away” from the site, due to its complex design and build nature.
Mass pilling was required together with a large retaining wall at basement to ground floor level, coupled with a large retaining gabion wall in the rear garden.
Attention to detail has been a real feature of this housing development. USB sockets have been incorporated into the plugs, and care and attention has been taken in the choice of fixtures and fittings in the houses right down to the door furniture and the design of window sills and frames.
The properties are within walking distance to Northwich Town centre and are valued at £170,000 to purchase or £700 a month for rental. Customers are expected to be a young professional couple with a child.
The project is not yet complete, but it is currently running to the expected time schedule.
